Privacy notice

What is collected

• Host logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, our infrastructure provider processes the technical details of each request (such as IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent and the referring page) to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it does not set cookies or use local storage, and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, countries and page load performance.
• Email you send us. If you write to contact@apmtips.com, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply and act on what you sent. There is no contact form and no newsletter.

What stays in your browser

• Theme choice. If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page uses it. Nothing else is stored there, and it is never sent to us.
• Tool inputs. The calculators do their arithmetic in your browser and do not send your inputs to our server. The page requests themselves are still covered by the host logs and analytics above.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no ad networks and no third-party trackers or social media embeds.
• No cookies set by the site.
• Fonts are served from our own domain; pages make no requests to font services.
• We don't sell or share personal data.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the theme setting by clearing this site's data in your browser. To ask about data related to an email you sent us, or to have it deleted, write to contact@apmtips.com.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes first and its "Updated" date moves.
